Fasting 2014 - Day 1
Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
It is the beginning of the year, a time when many Christians around the world will begin to fast.
Today I begin 40 days of prayer and fasting.
Jan 13th - Feb 21st, 2014
It is time to Arise and Shine
God's will for everyone that believes in Him is to rise and make progress in every area of their lives. There are times in our lives when we become stagnant and are not making progress.
It is possible to fall into sin, error, or failure. Whichever is the case God is willing to draw you out so that those positions will only be temporary and are not meant to be the end or the final state of your life.
So even as you spend time with God in prayer and fasting know that God can change any situation that has brought a cloud of darkness over your life.
God has a plan to raise you up from the state of spiritual death, and any thing that is dead in your body or your life can be raised back to life by the power of His Spirit.

If you haven't ask Jesus into your heart as Savior and asked Him to forgive you of your sins, it is as simple as following these steps:
1) ADMIT YOU HAVE SINNED. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
2) BELIEVE IN JESUS. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
3) CONFESS AND LEAVE YOUR SIN. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)

About Me
- A Christian who loves to write about christian living, spiritual health and self improvement. I pray daily that the love and grace of God will be poured out through my life to others, so that those who are in bondage can be delivered and the captives set free. I remind myself daily that whether or not I have "witnessed" I am still a witness in everything I do.
