Not because you are a Christian you will not face storms in life, the storms of life will come regardless of who you are, we will all face disturbing circumstances, but how we handle them will determine what happens to us as we go through them.
Matthew 8:26 says, And Jesus answered, "Why are you so afraid? You have so little faith! Then he stood up and rebuked the the wind and waves, and suddenly all was calm.
The disciples were afraid, theirs was a physical storm, but storms come in many forms. If Jesus is in your boat you have nothing to be afraid of. Fear not, despite your circumstances.
It was the enemy that distracted Peter from focusing on Jesus when he got out of the boat and began to walk on water. He took his eyes off Jesus and began to see the waves, he was afraid. He lost his focus and began to sink. Before you meet your destination there are going to be some midway crisis
You may be feeling all alone and have no way to turn, turn to Him, if you believe and obey him, he will see you through. He says to call upon him and he will hear and answer. He will save you, strengthen you, uphold, you deliver you, heal you, provide for you..
Matthew 7:24-25 says that anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the flood waters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won't collapse because it is built on bedrock.
..
As we obey God it becomes the foundation so that we are able to weather the storms that arise in our lives. If you want God to take care of your troubles, then you must let Him be your priority. God honors those who honor Him. If you're facing problems, stop whining and screaming and begging Him to save you from them. Honor Him by going to His Word and doing what He says to do, let Him come in and take over. When you do that, all of heaven will get involved in your life and you will be set free, you will
have victory
Your loved one might be sick or your child is in trouble, your spouse has walked out on you, you are in a financial storm, every thing possible seems to be going wrong for you, troubles are on all sides, burden down. But whatever your storms you can withstand them. Don't be afraid my friend you have life and where there is life there is hope, whatever it is that you need Him to do for you, He can do it, he is the storm calmer
He will calm every fiery situation and storm in your life. Don't be overwhelmed, don't be discouraged. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, He will do it just for you, yes there is light at the end of the storm.
Many times the devil uses the storms to take us off course, to disrupt our lives because he knows that we have purpose and destiny, but our job is to continually abide in the Lord. If we abide in him we will bear much fruit, apart from him we can do nothing. By staying close to God we will walk in the path he has chosen
Storms are nothing new, knowing that may not make your storm any easier to handle but maybe knowing that God understands will help. He knows you are tired, He knows you are frustrated and He also know you are wondering day after day how you will keep going. If you will turn to God in the midst of your storm, He will meet you where you are and turn your pain into peace
But the same storm the enemy sends to distract you and destroy you is the storm God will use to develop patience so you can inherit the promises. So you need to come to the understanding that there is purpose for the storms in your life. Don't let the devil use it to destroy you, let God use the storm for your good.
If you do not know the Lord and would like to you can do so right now by reading below .
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Roman 10:9
Salvation is a gift from God that is made readily available to those who repent, believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and that He died on the cross and rose from the dead to save mankind (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10). This gift cannot be earned through good deeds or by simply being a "good person" (Ephesians 2:8;1 Timothy 1:9). It is a matter of faith. The gospel also offers you a promise, to save you from the penalty of sin; we must believe it.
What must you do to be saved?
1. You must admit that you are a sinner.
2. You must repent of you sins.
3. You must confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
You can pray right now...
Lord, I admit that I have sinned and made myself unclean before you, the Holy Spirit. I understand that I deserve death as the penalty for my sins, and I believe that Jesus Christ paid this price for my sins, and I believe that Jesus Christ paid this price with His Blood. I want to turn away from my life -style of selfishness and sin; I repent. I confess Jesus Christ as my Savior and I put Him in control of my life as my Lord. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
A place of encouragement where you can find hope, build your faith, receive prayers and words of wisdom.

If you haven't ask Jesus into your heart as Savior and asked Him to forgive you of your sins, it is as simple as following these steps:
1) ADMIT YOU HAVE SINNED. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
2) BELIEVE IN JESUS. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
3) CONFESS AND LEAVE YOUR SIN. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)

About Me
- A Christian who loves to write about christian living, spiritual health and self improvement. I pray daily that the love and grace of God will be poured out through my life to others, so that those who are in bondage can be delivered and the captives set free. I remind myself daily that whether or not I have "witnessed" I am still a witness in everything I do.
