Prayer and Fasting for Purpose 2

Hello my friends its the half way mark of our 40 days of prayer and fasting for purpose and God has begun to do some tremendous things in my life and the believers.I know for me, I feel closer to the Lord. My attitude is different. I am more conscious of my actions.

I have to admit that I have had some really good days and I have had some days where I just didn’t think I was going to make it. But God has truly been faithful to give me the strength to continue on.

As I stay committed for the promise, I know that the Lord is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb 11:6) By staying committed to the commands and promises of God it begins to work in us as righteousness as unto God, thus the result... More of Him in our lives

If you have been discouraged, don’t be any longer. You are not alone. We are all in this together. We serve a God who says, “If I be for you WHO can be against you”. So with that said I am going to stay the course and finish my race. I am going to persevere and be faithful to stand through the test. I don’t want to miss out on the crown that the Lord has promised for me, my family and the generations yet to come.

Hi Gi,

Really encouraging post! I am praying for your fasting and obedience to the Lord. Yes, persevere-"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; when he has stood the test he will recive the crown of life God has promised those who love him." James 1:12
Love that verse! God bless!

Thanks Lori
Fatigue and discouragement are not reasons to quit, they are reasons to draw closer to God.

Thank you Robin
Fasting helps to take the focus away from self so that you can refocus on God and His will.

Hello Gi,

You can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives you the strength. He is the author and finisher of your faith. You can do it in Him and through Him.. Amen and Amen.. May the Lord continue to inspire you and bless you in your journey along side of HIm!

Thanks Tamela

Truly you can do nothing without Him

Repentance is a God given opportunity to enter into the blessings of the Lord and escape from the oppression of the enemy.
If you haven't ask Jesus into your heart as Savior and asked Him to forgive you of your sins, it is as simple as following these steps:

1) ADMIT YOU HAVE SINNED. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

2) BELIEVE IN JESUS. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

3) CONFESS AND LEAVE YOUR SIN. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)
