"Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in
God, I will praise him again - my Savior and my God."( Psalms 42:11)
I just can't face another day.
Is that how you have been feeling lately?. The pressures of life have been overwhelming, you just can't go on anymore.
You
can't understand what is happening to you, to your home to your
marriage, to your ministry. Something is missing and try as you will you
just can't find the key to make things work out.
You
have spent hours trying to figure out where things went wrong. The
romance is gone , the communication is gone, right now your relationship
with God is plummeting, right now there are more questions than
answers.
If you will pull back the facade you will find
depression, or perhaps you even thought about suicide or maybe even
attempted it, everything seems so blank and dismal.
You desperately cry out for God's help and He seems not to hear.
You struggle along making one mistake after another,we cry, you pray, you read the word, you help others and do good.
But you are left feeling empty and unfulfilled, doubt creeps in.
We
all have times of despair accompanied by feelings of failure, at times
we have all thought of quitting. We have all had thoughts of giving up.
The truth is life is tough for all of us, even the greatest preachers and men of the bible struggled.
I want to encourage you and let you know that some of the greatest people in the Bible have been there and felt like quitting
Moses
the man who talked with God and parted the Red Sea and brought down the
Ten Commandments got fed up with his problems and wanted to die.
"If this is how you intend to treat me, just go ahead and kill me. Do me a favor and spare me this misery!" (Numbers 11:15)
Job
was a perfect man in God's sight, yet he also experienced a time when
he wanted to give up after loosing his animals, his workers and his
children, but he held on to God.
Then there is
Jeremiah, he watched mothers eating their own children because of the
starvation of war, he was thrown in prison when his country was defeated
in war, when released from prison, he was hung by his armpits in a well
full of mud.
Now that's tough, but yet he still had hope.
"I
say to myself,"the Lord is my inheritance, therefore I will hope in
him!"The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search
for him. So it is good to wait quietly for the Lord to save.
(Lamentations 3:24-26)
Everyone at some point in their lives felt like giving up or quitting.
May be the problems and pressures of daily life make you feel like giving up.
Perhaps you are still waiting for answers to
prayers.Maybe you’re in need of healing or
you need a financial miracle.
Your situation right now might
seem hopeless but don't give up, let your faith in Him remain and
remember He loves you. God is not in the business of condemnation, He
never gives up on you, He loves you, hold on He will see you through.
You are what the Word says you are.
You can do what the Word says you can do.
You can have what the Word says you can have.
Begin to believe that.
Begin to say it out loud in faith.
A place of encouragement where you can find hope, build your faith, receive prayers and words of wisdom.

If you haven't ask Jesus into your heart as Savior and asked Him to forgive you of your sins, it is as simple as following these steps:
1) ADMIT YOU HAVE SINNED. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
2) BELIEVE IN JESUS. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
3) CONFESS AND LEAVE YOUR SIN. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)
Prayer Request
About Me
- A Christian who loves to write about christian living, spiritual health and self improvement. I pray daily that the love and grace of God will be poured out through my life to others, so that those who are in bondage can be delivered and the captives set free. I remind myself daily that whether or not I have "witnessed" I am still a witness in everything I do.
